About BayFest

Bayfest is Brooklyn's biggest waterfront event and is the only vendor-free street fair in all of NYC. Now in its 19th year and completely free, Bayfest is an all-day celebration of Sheepshead Bay, a unique community minutes from the Atlantic Ocean that includes a party boat fishing fleet, historic structures, and marine recreational activities--all in one beautiful harbor. Held alongside our piers, Bayfest offers a festival of continuous music and fun both as a service to the community and to raise New Yorkers' awareness of this treasure by the bay.
